Johan van der Molen is a principal ecosystem modeller at Cefas. He is Deputy President and Secretary for Coastal and Shelf Seas in the Ocean Science Division of the European Geosciences Union, and a convener in its annual assemblies. He has over 20 years of experience in numerical modelling of hydrodynamics, sediment transport, morphodynamics, transport of fish eggs and larvae, and biogeochemistry.
